Perhaps Mona Claren also thought that the ignorance of the existance of the League of Nations made the American public useful idiots.
Perhaps the idea of an implacable Japanese subhuman enemy was good in her eyes because it enabled the U.S. to get way with bombing Hiroshima.
I note a pattern similar to the belief that Middle Eastern people are also implacable fanatics and a contempt for the United Nations.
I see also the thought processes involved do not contemplate the possibility that Middle Eastern people could prefer being U.N. troops instead of Muslims waging Holy War.
